    ALLEN Says:

Horrible! Not that the food is great, but you can not even enjoy your order because the piercing voice of the owner will not allow you to eat without telling you what else she could cook. Hospitality is one thing, but that lady owner overstays her welcome at your table. Rating? None, you can not even rate this place, as due to the fact it should not even exist. HORRIBLE is the only way to describe it. Horrible food, horrible service and horrible staff/owner! Horrible horrible horrible!

Do not eat at that place! They don’t even have health certificates or a public health rating I won’t be surprise if I found out they are not up to code.

It is know as a restaurant, but it should be something else, you can’t just go there for a meal without that loud mouth owner trying to squeeze more money out buy trying to be a phys-kick or trying to sell some natural medicine. With the food being nowhere close good, that was the first and last I would ever go there.

Thuy’s cafe, now in their new location. Just found out that the owners live there in that small restaurant space. Come on now, you could only imagine how unsanitary that is. Their food is not consistent and is not “the BEST” Viet – Thai food. I would not spend another PENNY THERE. ohh, and that Light complected guy (server) had an awe-full smell, I could not stand every time he passed by. Would NEVER suggest that place, even if its the only place open. I was confused if it is a restaurant or a place to get irritated. The owner, Ellen kept talking, we could not even eat without her trying to convince us to try her so called “herbal tea”, in which she was charging more that $10 for one cup. Do not eat at Thuy’s Cafe, it is NOT worth the MONEY and the food is sick!

Loved going to the Thuy’s down in Agat. They served an awesome stir fried spicy shrimp and the shrimp were big! It also was topped with crispy garlic. They served it at the new location but it wasn’t the same. The shrimp were small and it wasn’t as tasty. My second favorite was the fried tilapia…again with cripsy garlic! Yummm. Please come back spicy shrimp! 🙂

The egg rolls (lumpia?) didn’t taste fresh. Most of the dishes didn’t really taste Vietnamese to me. I left feeling confused after workers were trying to sell other services while I ate.

I’m not sure if this is a Thai or Vietnamese joint. It gets confusing. I honestly think they should just focus on being one or the other, and being the best. Stop trying to be both.

The food was good, not dazzling. The place seems a bit rundown. I think some interior decorating (not much) would go far.

The workers were very polite and sociable. It really gives off a friendly atmosphere. I would go here again, not so much for the food, but for the nice, cozy atmosphere. The food needed to have more herb-filled tastes. Their lemon-grass just didn’t taste lemon-grassy enough.
