I did it. Never again – all they do is cruise around the extended harbor area, where the ships are “parked”. A cruise is a leisurely thing – this isn’t. Dinner is rushed out, tables are cleared off in a hurry, dancer comes out and dances, everybody is happy happy, then everybody gets ushered off the boat quickly so the least amount of time is spent on the customer. Typical Guam tourist rip-off operation.
The food was pretty good, but the prices are just TOO high. When you consider that the cruise is only about an hour and a half, it just doesn’t seem fair.
I got military discount, but I felt sorry for the tourists that had to pay full price (like $80 or something like that).
The entertainment was good (the dancers aren’t local, I think they are from Chuuk), the dancers could shake their hips and were attractive, and it was a good time for the crowd. I wish I had taken pics so I could upload them here.
I also liked that they had a bar. Boat trips and alcohol just seem to go together. They just need to make the cruise longer, or drop the price, in my opinion.
